Help the Ruffled Feathers “Kickstart” their new album!

How do you feel about supporting music and the musicians that make it? If you’re quick to say “Pff – not a chance!”, than you should stop reading this blog post right now.  Seriously, don’t waste your time.

BUT!! If you are actually interested, a great band from Vancouver, BC, called the Ruffled Feathers are looking for help from anyone who is able and would like to help.  The best part: it’s easy!

What they are looking for are some pledges from people like you and I so they can afford to finish mixing their album that they just spent 10 days this past summer recording in Oregon.  Yes, the recording process is indeed done, but it needs to be mixed by someone who knows what they’re doing, and that cost is $3,500.

These guys (and girl) are young, enthusiastic, and fantastic musicians who deserve the support of their community.  They’re also quite creative and have compiled footage from their recording sessions on the farm in Oregon and turned it into a pledge drive video: check it out here: Ruffled Feathers – “Oracles” Kickstarter pledge drive.  This is the same page where you can make your pledge.

The great thing about this project is you can help by donating no more than $1. That’s it. Even $1 will help.  But we’d also need a hell of a lot of donations at that rate.  So—again—if you are into supporting music and local musicians, please check out this great band and their cause.

Oh, I forgot to mention, the more you pledge to this project, the more you will receive from the band in return, if you so choose! But click the “Back This Project” button on the Kickstarter page and see for yourself.

If you really aren’t into this at all, just consider the day when nobody pays for music anymore, and thus, nobody makes music anymore.  Just sayin’…but no pressure, of course.

Cheers,

Dylan
